A Little About Jackie’s Role

Jackie has been in the mental health field for over 15 years.  Her passion for working with people began on the soccer field through playing, and then coaching.  Her love of coaching led her to mentoring in after-school programs in her native Chicago, IL.  She moved to MN for a coaching position, and also worked in a Diversion program as director of a group home.  She came to Youable in 2010 as a day treatment therapist, and has been promoted into several positions that led to her current role as Director, Clinical Services.  “Working with kids has always made work feel more fun than just work,” she says.  “I enjoy the energy and humor that adolescents bring to Youable every day.  Their strength and resiliency in managing adversity truly inspires me.”

In her spare time, Jackie enjoys being with her family.  She is a soccer and hockey mom, and also enjoys spending time at the pool or beach.
